Flash LiDAR transmitting modules consist of high-power solid-state laser or VCSEL laser and mounted diffusers, powering the pure solid-state flash LiDAR systems without any mechanical rotating parts. The AL01 series has entered automotive-grade mass production.
Line Beam LiDAR Transmitters
The line-beam LiDAR transmitters can release a line-shaped, highly collimated and homogeneous NIR laser beam. The hybrid solid-state LiDAR systems designed based on these modules achieve LiDAR detection by scanning a wide field of view with help of MEMS or rotating mirrors.
The innovative highly reliable VCSEL illuminating modules integrate automotive-grade glass diffusers and act as a good replacement of LED illuminators in the in-cabin DMS (Driver Monitoring System). Compared with LED, the VCSEL illuminators deliver more homogeneous beam profiles and higher power output, reducing the required numbers of illuminators as well as the size of the system, which also contributes to a more efficient and precise monitoring and recognition of the driver’s behavior.
Optical Assembly for LiDAR
Lens assemblies based on custom optical components and mirror barrels are designed to enable customers’ LiDAR transmitting or receiving modules, allowing customized shaping and homogenization of the laser beam.
The optical assemblies for laser sources adopt modular design and manufacturing to complete the tasks of beam shaping and homogenization required by LiDAR systems. Through these the system design and optical processes can be simpler and also the performance and manufacturability of the LiDAR systems can be improved.
