Presentation | Wafer-Level Optics and integrated Modules: Powering the New Vision of Smart Devices

Time:2025-10-10

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, Sun Lichen, Product Line Manager of the Global Photonics Foundry and Strategic Growth Division at Focuslight, will attend The 6th China-Germany (EU) Innovation Cooperation Forum—— Micro-nano Optical Manufacturing, organized by the Shenzhen Micro-Nano Manufacturing Industry Promotion Association. He has been invited to deliver a presentation titled: “Wafer-Level Optics and integrated Modules: Powering the New Vision of Smart Devices.” The presentation will be delivered in Chinese.

Abstract

This presentation will focus on Focuslight’s core technologies in the field of wafer-level optics, covering WLO (Wafer-Level Optics imprinting technology), WLS (Wafer-Level Stacking), and WLI (Wafer-Level Integration).

Based on end-customer application requirements, Focuslight has designed and mass-produced a variety of high-performance micro-optical components and modules, including planar/hybrid optical elements, projection and imaging optics, diffractive optical elements (DOE), microlens arrays (MLA), miniature camera modules, micro-projection lenses, and optical sensing and illumination modules.

The presentation will also highlight several real-world application cases, demonstrating how these products are widely adopted in end devices that are highly sensitive to size, power consumption, and cost, such as smartphones, wearables, AR/VR/AI glasses, and disposable endoscopes. These micro-optical solutions enable a wide range of functions, including:

Focuslight is committed to empowering intelligent terminals with advanced micro-optical technologies, driving innovations toward smaller, smarter, and higher-performance devices.
