Job Responsibilities
- Regularly meet or exceed your sales quota, while aggressively expanding the total sales opportunity funnel across Germany, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
- Employ best in class ‘consultative selling’ sales strategies, to establish and grow revenues at new and existing global customers.
- Cultivate personal relationships at all levels within our target accounts, visiting them regularly in order to ensure strong customer alignment, satisfaction and retention.
- Provide sales leadership for the full customer product life-cycle, maximizing Focuslight market share at all target accounts in the region.
- Through critical market analysis, identify new business opportunities and market adjacencies for Focuslight capabilities.
- Provide regular updates to internal Focuslight teams via CRM, customer contact reports, forecasts and ad-hoc reporting request.
- Participate in trade fair appearances, conferences and other marketing activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of sales or business development experience in photonics markets, with successful track record of closing multi $M deals.
- Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated success in managing complex technology design cycles.
- BSc or higher degree in a science or engineering discipline.
- Ambitious, results-oriented and independent mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in English and in German required.
- Disciplined and accurate forecasting and CRM ability.
- Willingness to travel >50% of the time within EMEA, with occasional trips to Asia.
