Focuslight will Exhibit at the 23rd China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE 2021)

From September 16 to September 18, the China International Optoelectronic Expo will open in Shenzhen China. Focuslight will exhibit a number of semiconductor lasers and laser micro-optics products at Booth B028 of Hall 1. There will be two academic seminars held, we welcome clients and audience from all over the world.

BeamRazorTM LiDAR Line laser Transmitter Module LE02 Pro

Focuslight has recently released a new upgraded member LE02 Pro of the BeamRazor™series to generate a line shaped laser beam with short pulsed high peak power up to 700W. Compared with last version LE02, the new module has an extensively optimized design for short pulse, heat dissipation, and reliability. The module size has been reduced by 20%, while power is increased by 25%, and the laser pulse width is shortened by 15%. LE02 Pro could maintain high peak power at a wider operating frequency. (~700W@10kHz~75kHz,pulse width<5ns).


 


LE02 Pro utilizes Focuslight’s unique automotive-grade collimation lens and glass homogenizer, can achieve:


1.  <0.15°@FW1/e2 fast axis collimation in horizontal direction.


2.  11° or 25°@FWHM slow axis flat-top profile in vertical direction (customized FOV is possible)


3.  very uniform profile with uniformity >85%


 


BeamRazor™ LE02 Pro line laser transmitter provides leading performance in the LiDAR Tx market, relatively higher maturity and manufacturability and relatively low cost for mass production. Combined with rotating mirror or MEMS for beam steering, and APD or SPAD/SiPM array for signal receiving, LE02 Pro could be used as an ideal line laser solution for hybrid LiDAR to fulfill ultra-high line density, high resolution and long range detection, for automotive-grade mass production.


 


Flash LiDAR VCSEL Transmitter Module AX02 Pro

AX02 Pro is designed based on novel high peak power VCSEL, Focuslight’s propriety microlens glass diffuser, and the in-house developed short pulse driver. AX02 Pro can deliver industry leading >700W peak power with a wide FOV. It can easily be integrated into novel Flash LiDAR solution with short to medium range detection.


 


As an upgrade from previous AX01, AX02 Pro has redesigned the core components - VCSEL laser, short pulse driver and glass diffusers. The key specifications are


1.  Peak power > 700W@940nm


2.  Pulse width < 5ns


3.  FOV 125 ° X25 ° (with batwing intensity distribution)


 


The laser transmitter module, if coupled with SiPM/SPAD detector array, can serve as an ideal solution for dToF LiDAR. It can also be used in emerging applications such as industrial sensing and other 3D sensing scenarios. The FOV and far-field intensity distribution can be customized upon customer request (max FOV up to 160°).
