Focuslight Exhibited at Laser World of PHOTONICS 2019 in Munich, Germany
On June 24, the biennial Laser World of PHOTONICS opened in Messe Munich. Focuslight and its wholly-owned subsidiary LIMO exhibited a number of semiconductor lasers and laser micro-optics products at Booth 321 of Hall B3. There were also several academic seminars held, attracting numerous visitors from all around the world.
Focuslight introduced a series of semiconductor lasers and laser micro-optics products in the exhibition, among which the star products that acquired extensive attention and inquiries from the audience: LiDAR series, FCVS array fiber-coupled module, UV-line series and Activation line IR.
For all kinds of solutions of LiDAR components and services, Focuslight provides laser sources (diode laser, DPSSL), optics (FAC lens, FAC + SAC array, monolithic lens), line beam generators, diffusers, as well as electro-optical assembling. At the fair, Focuslight’s brand new diffuser with an FOV>120º was debuted.
FCVS Fiber-Coupled Module
The FCVS by Focuslight is a fiber-coupled module especially designed for the applications of professional hair removal featuring its high peak power, large light spot (Ø 14 mm), high efficiency and excellent user experiences. Equipped with a plug and play fiber connector, it is easy to use and maintain. Also, multi-wavelength combination is possible.
UV-line series are optical systems designed for the laser stripping process in OLED flexible display manufacturing. In 2018, Focuslight’s UV-L750 has won the Prism Awards. This product can shape and transform one or more beams of symmetric light into a 750mm long ultra-uniform line beam with high energy density, and greatly improve the efficiency of material processing. Through unremitting efforts, LIMO has successfully developed a line beam up to 1,000mm long and 30µm wide, which can boost the production efficiency of the LLO process by more than 30%.
Activation Line IR
Activation Line IR is a line laser system designed for surface treatment and crystallization. This product utilizes a high-power indium-free semiconductor laser source. With supports of LIMO's unique micro-optic shaping technology, it can release a 0.5~2m long precisely shaped line beam with high uniformity and high power density. Activation Line IR replaced the traditional material processing mode using point light source and greatly improved the material processing efficiency.
Fascinating Academic Reports
In the afternoon of June 24th, Focuslight held two seminars on the booth: Focuslight in Automotive LiDAR by Gao Lei, R&D Director of Focuslight, and LIMO Micro-Optics – New Wide-Angle Diffusers with FOV > 120° by Raphael Mocek, Product Manager of LIMO. Both reports attracted numerous professional audiences and obtained consistent affirmation and praise.
